Jane Eyre is a girl who went to school as a student, later she became a teacher and she began to work in that school, after she left this job to teach a girl. When Jane Eyre was teaching arrived a man called Mr. Rocherster at the same house where she work. Months later Jane and Mr. Rocherster had gotten to know each other and she loved him. There was another girl who wanted to marry Mr. R., she had a lot of money and she was a very bad girl, but he knew that and said bye to her.
After a while they told each other that they loved each other, and the day that they were going to get married, she found out that Mr. R. had a wife so the wedding was suspended; Jane saw that Mr.R. was going to get married with this bad woman and she went to live with a family in another country but one year later she came back and discovered that Mr. Rocherster´s wife was dead so finally Jane and M. R. got married and they were very happy.

QUESTIONS FOR THE FINAL EXAM (The Selfish Giant)
- 1. Describe the Giant's Garden.
- 2. How did the selfish giant justify his putting up the "no trespassing" sign?
- 3. Explain the spiritual message communicated by the end of the story.
- 4. What is the Point of View of this story?
- 5. Describe the main characters of this story.
- 6. Find at least two slants and explain them.
FINAL EXAM
The Final Exam is going to be given on Monday, the 17th of March. Read the story "The Selfish Giant" and a little bit of Oscar Wilde's biography and come that day at 7 am ready to answer some questions related to the Literary Analysis of the story. According to the meeting we had yesterday; you have to have an Oral Final Exam too. Xavier Jaramillo will be here and we will hear you talking for around 4 minutes about the story you analized individually (the story you presented orally to the class), I am sorry to come with this surprise at the last minute, but those are the University rules.
